Starbucks Holiday Cup

Since 1997, Starbucks has welcomed the holidays with a special Red Cup that celebrates the spirit of the season worldwide. My Red Cup design features Santa’s sleigh and reindeer taking flight above a snow-covered village. I created the original drawing using a combination of white gouache and white Gelly Roll pens. The line work and details of my design are inspired by my training in “petrykivka” - an ancient Ukrainian decorative folk art.
